Director of Strategic Development - Age 48
A native Texan, Mrs. Clifton moved to Virginia to attend the University of Richmond. After graduating near the top of her class, she spent time as both a teacher and a stay at home mom raising three children.
In 1994, she took control of several family trusts where she was responsible for investments, predominantly real estate and various Stock Market equity and debt instruments. In 2013, she formed Clifton Serenity LLC to consolidate all trusts into a more comprehensive and strategic investment platform. In 2013, she was also recruited by One-Forty-Four Plus as the Director of Strategic Development. Her duties include assisting the CEO and Chairman in the development of new projects, including coordination of due diligence and communication with prospective clients and partners. She also assists in the creation of One-Forty-Four Plus marketing and technical reports used during business activities.
Mrs. Clifton is active in community service. In 2015, she was asked to Chair “The Steward School Annual Fund”. Steward is a well-known independent private school in Richmond, Virginia. Her responsibilities included fund raising and communication coordination. During her tenure, in conjunction with the Development Office, she oversaw the Fund’s finances resulting in the budget exceeding financial goals during both years of her service.
Mrs. Clifton possesses significant expertise in investments, portfolio and cash flow management, the use of hedging and sophisticated trading techniques, derivative utilization with both listed and over the counter options and specialized investment techniques that generate income and/or protect principal.
